residential wind turbines are nothing but the turbines installed in the top of the houses are in the farm that produces energy for the household. The wind turbines are a part of the wind generation by tapping the useful forces of the wind. The turbines are installed and connected to the rotating blades of the fans which are turned by the passing force of the wind.In this way the turbines generate electricity by converting wind's kinetic energy.
Residential projects are uncommon. Even though the wind energy is one of the cleanest source of energy and is renewable, its high cost of production acts in its disfavor. Another major hindrance in wind energy production is the uncertainty of the available wind fuel. Even after the turbines and blades have been installed, the energy generation is depends on the wind force and is indeterminable. This causes the wind millsto be just standing without really putting them to work.
A lot country farm owners have found this as a good source of energy and like solar energy.
it has been installed on a private basis like on commercial basis. Regions were the availability of wind force is particularly guaranteed, installation of such technology may be worth the spending.
One of the major reasons of it not being used for large scale commercial use and it being used in residential power supply is its inconsistent productivity. A household would need relatively less energy and could also do without the energy if needed, in house were alternative supply of energy is available. it can easily switch between different source of energy.Even in some countries people are adopting this technique , using wind mill energy during wind season and other sources during rest of the year for their factories. nowadays wind turbines are being installed in oceans also. If we start using this wind turbines more widely, it not only economically effective but also prevents unwanted destruction of forests from installing all electical transformers through forest to remote places, by this sure we can change our world in to green in return it gives more wind power to us. think again......
